Excellence by nature

I am delighted to share with you this 27th issue, the first after a long break.

As always, we have continued to innovate in order to offer you ever more enjoyable moments, and we know how precious they are! A new decor for the patio and first floor of La Réserve Ramatuelle; a complete redesign of Le Loti Restaurant & Bar at La Réserve Genève; and the renovation of a hundred or so rooms at the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa in Interlaken... We have also opened new hotels, the AlpenGold in Davos and L’oscar in London – the latter being a first on British soil for Michel Reybier Hospitality. I am convinced that moving forward by undertaking new and exciting projects is the best way to meet life’s challenges.

This forced break was also an opportunity for many people to put certain priorities into perspective. Nature is now more than ever a major concern, probably the most important of all, which is why this new issue is dedicated to this theme.

Nature must inspire us to live better. I have always been convinced that the secret of well-being is based on a very simple individual ecology, common sense above all, as well as a few fundamental pillars: healthy eating, daily exercise, taking care of yourself and those you love, learning and progressing throughout your life, moving ahead...

This is a holistic vision that I have always advocated with our Nescens brand. It shines through in all our activities, from hotels to spas, from restaurants to vineyards, and is obviously embodied in the expertise of the Clinique Nescens.

Our medical specialists and the progress of scientific knowledge daily demonstrate the importance of this philosophy based on optimizing health, well-being and performance. It is not a matter of effort or constraints, but rather a natural source of pleasure. These life principles should be taught at an early age in order to live in top shape for as long as possible. Fortunately, human nature is well designed and the discoveries around epigenetics show that the benefits of a balanced lifestyle are remarkable at any age. It’s up to you to take advantage of this!

Finally, wines represent another area where human expertise and Nature work wonders for our enjoyment. We have acquired the La Mascaronne and Lauzade estates in Provence, cultivated according to our ethical principles to preserve living soil while producing excellent wines. Whether in our vineyards or in each of our establishments, our innermost selves remain dedicated to perpetuating high-quality craftsmanship in order to share nothing but the very best with you.
