brimming with history

Staying at the Monte Rosa hotel is an experience in itself. The atmosphere is unique in terms of its history filled with the memories of mountaineering pioneers such as Edward Whymper who was a regular guest. On July 13th 1865, it was from here that he set off to conquer the Matterhorn, a feat never previously accomplished. The elegant establishment earned an international reputation thanks to this exploit. Decades later, the splendid Belle Epoque soirées held there made a lasting impression. The guarantee of a truly unique atmosphere!
